Faculty and Staff

The goal of our school is to provide a quality education to all of our students. The faculty and staff of the Robert L. Merritt Middle School staff believe that it is our responsibility to develop the whole child -- academically, emotionally, mentally, morally, physically, and socially.  We have developed the following objectives with this philosophy in mind:
  1. To provide a stimulating environment that will give students the feeling of belonging and the desire to learn.
  2. To provide a flexible curriculum that is aligned vertically and horizontally in all subject areas.
  3. To organize special programs of instruction for the bright and gifted as well as the average and below-average learner.
  4. To develop wholesome attitudes, convictions, and concepts about self and others in our student body.
