Bus Rules

The following disciplinary procedures will apply in cases of misconduct by students that place in jeopardy the safe operation of the school bus:

  • First Offense: Warning and/or conference with parent or guardian, and /or punishment.
  • Second Offense: Suspension from pupil transportation services for the period of three (3) days.  Notification must be sent to parents or guardian.
  • Third Ofense: Suspension of student from transportation services for ten (10) school days and a conference with parents or guardian.
  • Fourth Offense: Suspension from pupil transportation services for a semester or the equivalent of a semester and a conference with parents.
  • Fifth Offense: Suspension from pupil transportation for the remainder of the school year.

 

While on the Bus:

1.  Do not distract the driver's attention other than when necessary.

2.  Talk to your friend in a normal tone and do not shout.  Do not talk or make unnecessary noise when the bus is approaching anf crossing thr highway intersection.

3.  Do not bring unauthorized articles on the bus (i.e. pets, combustible, large articles, weapons).

4.  Be courteous to follow the instruction of your bus driver and safety patrol.
