Athletic Director's Message
Greetings,
As the new Athletic Director for the Indianola School District, I would like to welcome all our students and “RAM FANS” back for the start of an exciting athletic year.
Sports have been my passion since I was a child, and as Athletic Director, I am able to carry out that passion on a daily basis. Athletics is not just about playing games; it's a way of life. The attitudes and skills developed through a competitive athletic program will directly affect one's success in later life. The major goal of each Indianola School District coach is to provide the students with an excellent role model. In doing so, he/she will provide leadership and guidance which their student athletes need in order to reach their maximum potential. As they improve athletically, the positive results will be seen in their daily lives through increased self-esteem, confidence, leadership, competitiveness, determination, and academic success. The athletic program at our various schools are on course to become a solid, consistent, and cohesive programs and under the direction of our hard working and energetic coaching staff, I am confident that we will see success. Our coaches are well trained and motivated to encourage and train all of our student-athletes. As a team, we will raise expectations in athletics and academics.
In order for our athletic program to grow and reach a new level of excellence, we need enormous support from our parents, community, administrators, staff, and students. I would love for each you to make an effort to attend athletic events throughout the year. The presence of “RAM FANS” is such an encouragement and motivating factor for athletes and the coaching staff as well.
Thank you for your continued support and best wishes for all our athletes and school community members.
INDIANOLA SCHOOL DISTRICT “A COMPASSIONATE CHAMPIONSHIP EFFORT-FOR THE GAMES AND IN THE CLASSROOM”.
Edmond Williams, Ed.S.
Athletic Director
