Absences and Excuses

Regular attendance is essential if students are to be succesful in school.  All students shall attend school as required by school board policy.  No student will be entitled to receive academic credit for courses should more than 20 days be missed during the school year.  Excused absences shall be considered those resulting from illness of the student or family emergency.  Other absences must be excused through prior arrangement with the office of the principal and with the permission of the parents.  Make-up work will be given only to students with excused absences.
