Business Technology is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in business occupations. The microcomputer is used for ADVANCED units of study such as: Word Processing, Database Management, Spreadsheet Applications, Automated Accounting, and Desktop Publishing. As today's business world becomes more high-tech, training provided through Business Technology courses is becoming more essential for all students.

The students are given the opportunity to join and participate in a student organization, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), to acquaint them with a competitive spirit and recognition of excellence to reflect the important aspects of the educational process that prepares them for their roles in the American Enterprise system. The block of time (two consecutive class periods) offers additional laboratory time to develop in-depth training skills.
